About the event
What is CAMELIDynamics?
CAMELIDynamics principles are based on ABA (Animal Behavioral Analysis) & TTouch. You can learn how to work with your alpacas and llamas in a kind, respectful and effective manner that has been scientifically proven to work – and it’s both fun and safe.
What you will learn:
- the ABC’s of alpaca behaviour and how to create positive outcomes
- how to catch and work with your alpacas safely
- the dynamics of correct halter fit and why it is so important
We work with animals in a relaxed and fun atmosphere - come and join us!
Your trainer: Alicia Anderson, CAMELIDynamics Clinician
Alicia owned and has worked with alpacas for over 20 years and has been a Camelidynamics Senior consultant for more than 10 years, she has been to the US many times to work with Marty at Camelidynamics and has a wealth of knowledge on helping you work with your animals in a way that will make life so much easier for you and more enjoyable.
Praise for Alicia by Marty McGee Bennett, founder of CAMELIDynamics:
Alicia Anderson is a dedicated and talented animal handler, trainer, and teacher. I have worked with her for over 20 years. She has attended many advanced clinics with me and flown across the world to further her expertise. She has assisted with clinics in the US and Australia and I have seen firsthand her talent as a teacher. She has always pursued the latest innovations in learning and teaching that I have added to the CAMELIDynamics body of knowledge including learning about the TTouch and the Science of Behavior. I am continually impressed with her understanding and ability to work with camelids and her dedication to the well-being of all animals. I am enthusiastically happy to designate her as a CAMELIDynamics Clinician and I encourage anyone who has an opportunity to take a workshop with her to do it! And then do it again if presented with the opportunity. Learning CAMELIDynamics happens not in a circle but in a spiral… when you come back to a training session you experience it from a different angle and see things in a way you didn’t see the first time. Marty McGee Bennett - CAMELIDynamics
Your host: Rita Soares, alpaca shepherd at Campo Verde Alpacas
